Matt is responsible for the financial management, and logistics and is the health & safety coordinator. He has extensive financial management experience from careers in banking, financial services and compliance. After many years living overseas, he has relocated back to Kaitaia where he grew up.

Jeremy oversees the commercial management, client communication and relationships with forest managers and owners. His background is in property valuation, he has also held executive roles in Sport & Recreation. Jeremy’s varied career gives him an excellent understanding of commercial decision-making and executive management.

Shorty began his career in forestry over 50 years ago, he manages forestry operations, silviculture, manual thinning and is a FENZ Sector leader. His contribution to the Northland forestry industry has been formally recognised as Contractor of the Year. Shorty is also our in-house trainer with extensive knowledge and experience. Shorty prefers to be in the field with our team overseeing day to day operations.

Neil has been involved in forestry for over 40 years. He began his career in Kaikohe operating his own Silviculture company before shifting to Kaitaia and joining FNR Forestry. His in-depth knowledge and experience in forestry operations mean his role is to improve productivity and operating efficiency. As our Operations Manager Neil is still very much hands-on with the team in the forest.
